This is one of the Basic Partner drills and contains the 4 Basic Single-Hand Answers/Principles against an [[Chamber 1]] or [[Chamber 2]] attack.
The Drill can be performed in 3 stages (static, moving, spontaneous) and 2 progressions (in order and random) according to the skill leven of the practitioner. The last stage are counter-attacks
The different party can also be re-arranged into your own drills or included in existing ones. Shield, Pass, Backhand, whether left or right, the principles never changes; only the sequencing, flow and inside or outside.
These 3 basic principles teach you the correct distance and reference points. Also they are a progression from the least optimal position to the most optimal, the endpoint of this would be the [[Pelampas]]:
- Step 1: Shield (Gelek away from the weapon, but inside)
- Step 2: Pass (Gelek to the outside and reaching with your left Hand)
- Step 3: Backhand (Although it is also "just" a Gelek to the outside, by hitting with your right you create a bit more distance)
- Step 4: Pelampas (Being able to hit with the 3rd step teaches you the best angle (45°) for your counter-moves)
By training this drill both partners learn  how to control distance and how to create different reactions, applications and finisher from it
In reality you hit the attacker with either Action and ideally hurt him and therefore force his next attack/action.
### 1. S-P-B-J1 Static-In Order
Stance: [[Partner Stand]]
Links: [[Sector 2]] [[Sector 3]] [[Clearing]]
Move only with the hips and concentrate on the correct structure
```mermaid
sequenceDiagram
A->>B: Angle 1
B->>A: LeShield on Sector 2 & attack
A->>B: LeShield on Sector 2 & attack
B->>A: Pass on Sector 3 & attack
A->>B: Pass on Sector 3 & attack
B->>A: RiBH on Sector 2 + LePass on Sector 3 & attack
A->>B: RiBH on Sector 2 + LePass on Sector 3 & attack
B->>A: ReJurus1 on Sector 2 & Clearing to the inside
A->>B: ReJurus1 on Sector 2 & Clearing to the inside
```
### 2. S-P-B-J1 Moving-In Order
Focus on correct structure and movement, try to use mini-squads to destabilze the attacker. Make sure to maintain the same distance after your action
```mermaid
  A->>B: Angle 1
  B->>A: RiGelek + LeShield on Sector 2 & attack
  A->>B: RiGelek + LeShield on Sector 2 & attack
  B->>A: LeGelek + Pass on Sector 3 & attack
  A->>B: LeGelek + Pass on Sector 3 & attack
  B->>A: LeGelek + RiBH on Sector 2 + LePass on Sector 3 & attack
  A->>B: LeGelek + RiBH on Sector 2 + LePass on Sector 3 & attack
  B->>A: RiGelek + ReJurus1 on Sector 2 & Clearing to the inside w. LeGelek
  A->>B: RiGelek + ReJurus1 on Sector 2 & Clearing to the inside w. LeGelek
```
### 3. S-P-B-J1 Spontaneous-In Order
Both partners are now 2-3 arms length apart; A tries to move towards B, B tries to evade and maintains the distance at all costs. At one point, A lunges towards B with a stepping-attack and B answers with one of the 4 principles
### 4. S-P-B-J1 Static|Moving|Spontaneous-Random
Now both partners move and act no longer in sync. The Receiver decides what principle he or she uses against the attack. You can also answer with multiple actions of the same type (e.g 3 Passes) if your position requires it
### 5. S-P-B-J1 Static|Moving|Spontaneous-In Order|Random + Counter-Attacks
Now every Answer has a specific counter-attack
- Shield: RiThrust to the Throat (Chest during Training)
- Pass: RiFist against the Ribs/Liver
- Backhand: LiFist against the Floating Ribs | LiSlap against the Kidney
- Jurus 1: Before the Jurus 1: RiSlap on Face; After the Clear: LiSlap against the Head
### 6. Option 1: Thrusts
The same Drill can also be applied to thrusts. All movements remains the same except Jurus 1 changes to [[Jurus 3]]
### 7. Option 2: Counter
During the whole Drill (also in free-mode) either partner can attack with a (fast) Thrust after his Shield/Pass or Backhand. The partner needs to react (often by a back-chambering to RiLowChamber and therefore kind of ReverseLowBackhand and can continue to attack with an Angle 1 afterwards
### 8. Option 3: Level-Change
All options from above, but now you work with your heels up, and chang from Neutral Stance with bend knee slowly into a deep squat position and back up while working on your partner-drill. You can also kneel and continue from there
### 9. Option 4: Using a Bench for Stepping
Te teach the correct raising of your legs (assume its a knee-kick everytime) you can use 2 benches or also steps and move between/up and down them

### 10. InsideShield + Hit + J1
```mermaid
  B->>A: InsidePShield + Stab into LiShoulder
